The newest collaboration with a new designer Torbe Knives! The largest and heaviest fixed blade knife in the Realsteel range to date. Blade: D2 Total Length: 243 mm / 9.57" Blade length: 110 mm / 4.43" Blade Thickness: 5 mm / 0.20" Weigth: 283g / 9.98oz Handle: G10 The Doppler brandishes utterly awesome Nessmuk style blade which has a Torbe design quintessential blade grind. Another first for RSK with the all black version brandishing a very cool PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating. The PVD coating is a layer of high density material that’s only a few microns thick, not just looking cool, but providing that bit of extra corrosion resistance to the blade. Made of D2 with strong jimping milled along the spine, the blade is purposefully top heavy, which excels in providing a huge amount of power behind chopping and felling and general propose cutting. Being the Realsteel fixed knife range heaviest knife and general style of the blade renders itself more useful as a small axe. The large cutaway leading to the somewhat slender handle thus allows for a fantastically comfortable control of the blade. As seen in other Realsteel Bushcraft knives, coloured liners have been sandwiched between the thick D2 spine scales which flows down elegantly to an exposed triangular lanyard hole. To perfect this knifes design aesthetics, two large circular screws extrude from the body on each side which provide a focal point. Big, powerful and beautiful. This guy is the friendly giant!
