Over the years Robert David has made significant progress in the crafting of fine traditional French pocket knives in the Laguiole style. Laguiole is not only a town in France, but a style of French knife that can be traced back hundred's of years. Laguiole in and of itself is not a knife company as the name has never been trademarked. A traditional Laguiole knife will be hand made in France. The true Laguiole tradition has been handed down through the generations. Robert David produces some highly decorated knives with outstanding hand file work. Some of these knives have stunning Damascus blades.
