Once again POHL FORCE was asked to support an international film production. The new action film, which will premiere in autumn 2018, allowed POHL FORCE to equip a complete Special Forces team with deployment knives.
Based on proven designs that were adapted to the special requirements of the chief propmaster and a complete redevelopment for one of the main actor who plays the team leader in the film and should stand out with his knife from the other operators. At the handing over of the knives at shooting start in the London film studios as well as at the outside turning place in Sofia designer Dietmar Pohl was able to support the film crew with his extensive expertise in the field of tactical deployment knives and film knives.
Each of the four deployment knives has been specially adapted to the operational equipment of the individual operator (Team Leader, Sniper, Weapon Specialist, Combat Medic). To fit the predominantly tactical brown features, the sheaths in Flat Dark Earth were made especially for the film. As with the MK1 model from 2016, POHL FORCE has chosen a strictly limited special edition of all four models used in the film.
Only 200 pieces each are offered by the models MK3 to MK6 for the film knife collector. In addition to the elaborate certificate, these unique limited edition and numbered collectors' knives also include a POHL FORCE collector's bag, in which you can store your MK model safely and at the same time lockable. Of course, the name of the new movie will be announced in time for the premiere.
MK6 ("Team Leader") - The MK6 model is a completely new development by Dietmar Pohl based on classic custom combat designs of the 80s. With a guaranteed edition of just 200 pieces, the smallest series ever produced at POHL FORCE. Although the actor in the film performs an execution with ankle hand protection, the MK6 has been adapted to the applicable German weapons law to make it accessible to the collector of exceptional utility knife. The subtle adjustment of the handle design gives the knife its own characteristic. The prop masters deliberately insisted on the first handle design of the EOD series with a coarse milling structure. The result is a unique knife that only a small number of collectors may call their own.
