Isham Bladeworks, helmed by knife designer Elijah Isham, has never been one to conform to conventions. Boldly going where others dare not, Elijah’s latest creation - theAbstruse -blurs the line between tradition and modernity.
As featured on Gear Patrol, theAbstruse was created by combining and experimenting with new lines and shapes. By eschewing a traditional flipper tab for a front flipper, Elijah was able to effectively blend form with function.
The result is an eye-catching 2.8” M390 modified sheepsfoot blade combined with an organic, flowing handle profile that is both highly unusual and superbly ergonomic. In addition, a traditional nail nick serves as a secondary deployment option and increases the blade’s versatility.
Featuring full titanium sculpted handles, the Abstruse features a rock-solid frame-lock and weighs in at only 68 grams. Amazingly refined and impressively unique, the exquisite Isham Bladeworks Abtruse is the perfect choice someone who refuses to settle for the ordinary.
