Kizlyar Shark Lohmann PGK TW Walnut KK0101
Search By Category
Kizlyar Supreme’s Shark knife belongs to the category of large tourist knives and is “sharpened” for a wide range of work from harvesting firewood to cooking in the kitchen.
The PGK model allows the knife to plunge deeply and smoothly. At the base of the blade, a choyle is made, which is designed to allow intricate cuts. The very high hardness 62-63 HRC - the dream of any user - the knife holds sharpenness perfectly.
However, usually with such hardness, the blades become fragile. Not with PGK steel! Unparalleled, this German steel can withstand very high loads even at such high hardness.
Due to the high content of elements (carbon, tungsten, vanadium, molybdenum, silicon), this steel is characterized by aggressive cutting and the highest wear resistance.
In this case, the blades are very durable and resistant to chips even at high hardness of the order of 62-63 HRC. If you want to combine excellent cutting, edge retention and strength - you can safely choose a blade made from PGK. 8.5% of the chromium in the composition gives PGK steels a certain resistance to corrosion, but not stainless.
Surface stains may appear, while corrosion does not go into the depths and is easily removed. Lohmann PGK steel is for lovers of quality cuts.
If you are a fan of razor-sharp blades, the Shark will not disappoint you. The knife is completed with beautiful brandy-colored sheaths, with deep embossing in the shape of a shark. The scabbard has two types of suspension: free and rigid fixed suspension.
Made by Kizlyar Supreme.
